Trust in the media is up, and the improvement is driven by Republicans. A third of Americans say they have a great deal or fair amount of trust in “mass media,” up five points from last year. Nearly all of that improvement comes from Republicans, 22% of whom have trust in the media. That’s up from a record-low 8% last year, and the highest GOP reading since 2015.
