Rep. Haley Stevens twice won a House district that President Trump had carried in 2016.
In 2018, she flipped the 11th district by 6.7 points. Two years earlier, the same district voted for Trump by 4.4 points.
In 2020, she retained the district by 2.4 points, though this time, she underperformed relative to the presidential race: the same district voted for President Biden by 4.5 points.
Stevens, a moderate, faces the progressive Abdul El-Sayed for the Democratic nomination in Michigan’s Senate race next week.
